2. NUTRA – NUTRI PHYTO PHARMACEUTICAL PARK, MYSURU – KARNATAKA

Initiated for nurturing entrepreneurs in the area of Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods in collaboration with Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru to provide opportunity to explore and innovate ideas into a commercially viable technology by Start-up ventures and SMEs.

3. CENTRE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY RESEARCH – UNIVERSITY OF HORTICULTURAL SCIENCES, BAGALKOTE

4. BANGALORE BIOINNOVATION CENTRE (BBC)

BBC, totally dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship in the area of Life Sciences, has been designed to be a world class Incubation Centre (IC) to accommodate 25 – 30 start-ups with access to Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) in a 10 Acre campus with total built up area of 60,000 Sq. Ft.

Area – Healthcare (Med Tech/ Pharma/Bio-Pharma), Agriculture, Food/Nutrition, Industrial Biotechnology and Environmental Biotechnology.

5. CENTRE FOR NANO SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (CENSE)

The Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) focuses on interdisciplinary research and education in the broad area of nanoscale science and technology.

6. SEMICONDUCTOR MEASUREMENT, ANALYSIS & RELIABILITY TEST LAB

STPI in association with Government of Karnataka has setup Semiconductor Characterization lab in Bengaluru, branded as SMART (Semiconductor Measurement Analysis & Reliability Test) lab. Tessolve Semiconductor Pvt. Ltd., is chosen to be the partner by STPI in housing and managing the SMART Lab as part of providing eco system that helps in Semiconductor, product and system design companies.

7. IIITB- INNOVATION CENTRE

IIIT-B Innovation Centre is one of innovation / incubation centers approved by Governments of India and Karnataka. IIITB has set up a sec 25 company named IIITB innovation Centre.

8. COE-IOT

The center helps in building industry capable talent, start-up community and an entrepreneurial ecosystem for IOT. CoE will provide multi technology and interoperable platform for creating a validated product.

10. CCAMP

Centre for Cellular And Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) is an initiative of Dept of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, with a mandate to be an enabler of cutting edge Life Science Research and Innovation. C-CAMP is also a member of the Bangalore Life Sciences Cluster (BLiSC). We facilitate Bioscience Research and Entrepreneurship by providing Research, Development, Training and Services in state-of-the-art Technology Platforms.

As a part C-CAMP’s mandate of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, C-CAMP has created and fostered an entrepreneur-friendly culture in and around Academic/Research environment through its involvement in Seed Funding Schemes for Startups, Entrepreneur Mentorship program and Bio-Incubation facility.

At C-CAMP, we have established State-Of-The-Art Platform Technologies which are essential requirements for success and leadership in the field of Life Sciences. C-CAMP allows Investigators to use Techniques as tools and not be limited by Technological barriers while pursuing challenging scientific questions.

11. VLSI/ESDM Incubation Centre

Name of the Centre – VLSI/ESDM Incubation Centre.

Collaboration with – KITS has collaborated with India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) to implement VLSI/ESDM Incubation Centre.

Address – VLSI/ESDM Incubation Centre has been set up at KLE Technological University, Vidya Nagar, Hubballi, Karnataka 580031.

Objective of the program –

• The objective of VLSI/ESDM Incubation Centre is to create successful entrepreneurs and trained manpower.
• Total of 10-15 incubatees will get access to incubation centre over a span of 3 years and will be eligible to access equipments, facilities, mentorship etc.
• The final goal is to churn out five successful ESDM Companies from shortlisted incubatees.
• This facility has been inaugurated and is functional.

12. Brown field ESDM Cluster

Name of the Centre – Brownfield ESDM Cluster.

Collaboration with – KITS will be collaborating with India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) to implement Brownfield ESDM Cluster.

Address – Brownfield ESDM Cluster has been set up at Deshpande Foundation – Foundation for Sandbox Startups Initiatives, beside international airport, opposite to Gokul village, Gokul road, Hubballi – 580030.

Objective of the program –

• The Brownfield ESDM Cluster will work with the Proof of concept startups/ incubatees and other stakeholders who are interested to make semiconductors chips and electronic based products/services.
• The Incubation centre will help the incubatees with access to IPs facilitations process and also help the startups create IPs in house.
• This facility has been inaugurated and is functional.

13. Mysore ESDM Cluster

Name of the Centre – M/s Mysore ESDM Cluster.

Collaboration with – Common Facility Centre (CFC) under the EMC Scheme of MeitY, GoI supported by GoK and private partners.

Address – Plot No.336/4 & 336/5, Hebbal Industrial Area, Mysore – 570018.

Objective of the program –

• The Common Facility Centre (CFC) would cater to various testing, quality and regulatory needs of the industry.
• CFC will function as a service provider to assist the firms seeking services in innovating and developing new products, enhancing productivity and meeting international regulatory requirements.
• This facility is expected to be operational during January 2019.

14. Manipal – Government of Karnataka Bioincubator

Manipal – Government of Karnataka Bioincubator (Manipal-GOK Bioincubator) with a vision of being in the space of world class bioincubation has access to cutting edge technologies, expertise and infrastructure within a built in area of more than 10,000 sq. ft. The Bioincubator aims to upscale innovations specializing in technology and propel innovative ideas towards product commercialization. Manipal-GOK Bioincubator is located within the University campus of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka State, India. The campus brings about multidisciplinary entrepreneurial eco-system of MAHE with expertise in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, Engineering, Life Sciences, Management and Basic Sciences. Government of Karnataka extends its support through strategic investment and policy interventions to create multidisciplinary technology platform in the thrust areas of Biopharma, Biomedical Devices, Dental Innovation, Biotechnology, Drug Discovery, Diagnostics and Medical Healthcare.

Objective of TBI –

Manipal – Government of Karnataka Bioincubator address the challenges of entrepreneurs to create technology-based enterprises to successfully commercializing business models. Bioincubator keen to develop a strong entrepreneurial culture with good governance and operational model to evaluate and benchmark the performance of entrepreneurs. Manipal-GOK Bioincubator focuses on the translational activities dedicated to promoting technology based early stage ideas through mentorship, investment readiness support, technical assistance, business support services, technology management services and networking opportunities.
