BENGALURU TECH SUMMIT 2018

The Bengaluru Tech Summit -2018, the flagship event of Government of Karnataka was held on the 29th, 30th Nov 2018 & 1st Dec 2018. The Bengaluru Tech Summit is India’s biggest event and has evolved as a Premier ICT, Electronics and Biotechnology Summit. The Department of IT & BT organized the event.

Powerful conferences have been main component of the event and provided comprehensive view of critical, technical, commercial, policy issues facing the industry. The International conferences brought together top technology experts, futurists, policy makers, research heads and industry captains from all over the globe.

The focus of conferences was on Blockchain, AI, ML & Robotics, Intelligent Apps and analytics, Immersive Experiences (AR/VR), IOT, Telecom, Cyber Security, Bio Pharma, Bio Agri, Bio Energy & Bio Fuels, Bio Services, Bio Informatics, Investment & Finance and much more.

Some of the other events under Bengaluru Tech Summit were IT Export Awards, Biotech Thought leaders conclave, Poster Presentations, Product launches/Demo, Bengaluru Tech exchange, Lab to Market, Tech Tutorials, B2B Meetings and Makers.

Bengaluru Tech Summit in association with IDRL also hosted the India’s biggest and most extravagant night Drone racing competition, 28 teams participated in the event and the event was well received by the audience. Bio Excellence Awards offers individuals and companies with a platform to showcase their contribution and value addition in the field of Life sciences and Biotechnology.

Startup & Innovation Zone provided an opportunity to more than 200 startups to showcase the best of innovation from across the county and helped them to interact with entrepreneurs, angel visitors, venture capitalists, Mentors and accelerators. The Innovation zone had more than 40 innovators showcasing and demonstrating their prototypes from across the nation.

Human Code Global Hackathon was the world’s most diverse Hackathon “Human Code” which hosted 4157 teams from 68 countries. The Hackathon is conducted by inviting developers from across the globe to solve problems faced by humanity. The best 20 entries are awarded prize money of $20,800 and chance to visit Bengaluru during the summit. The Bengaluru Tech Summit also hosted the Rural IT Quiz Finals and Bio Quiz Finals which were a Grand success with participation from large number of participants from various schools of which the Rural IT Quiz was conducted in 6 states namely Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Karnataka. The Bio quiz was conducted in all the districts in Karnataka.

The event was a grand success with participation of 307 Speakers, 4189 delegates, 785 exhibitors, 200+ Startups, 378 International delegates, and 9000+ Visitors.
